Budget Breakdown
BVCS impacts hundreds of students and families each year (and has impacted thousands of students/families over the past 45 years) by providing a Christ-centered, college/career preparatory education that is second to none.

The cost of providing a BVCS education exceeds the price that BVCS charges for tuition, leaving a significant funding need that is met through the Impact Fund.

$130,110 has been raised for the 2019-2020 Impact Fund (formerly the GAP Fund & tuition assistance). Our goal is $400,000 by the end of May, 2020.

Christ-Centered Discipleship
High School students serve a minimum of 20 hours per year
18 students will be going to serve in the Dominican Republic
148 chapels will take place in the 2019-2020 school year
We support a full-time Campus Pastor who oversees all chapels and supports the spiritual development of our students, staff and families
252 students were able to go to Hume Lake this year where students, teachers and counselors experience the love of Jesus Christ as they grow closer to Him
Our chapel theme this year is “Lord Teach Us to Pray” from Luke 11:1

College Preparatory Academics
99% of our students are accepted to at least one university
27% of our high schoolers are taking college courses

A Note from the Superintendent
It’s hard to believe we are over halfway through our 2019-2020 school year. Re-enrollment has begun, Preview Day is coming (February 13) and Big Valley Christian School is reaching new heights in enrollment.

We view our families as true partners with us in the education process. Thank you for the countless ways you support Big Valley Christian School by volunteering, helping students with homework, cheering at sporting and theatre events, and in so many other ways. I am grateful for how you support what we do day in and day out as we seek to glorify God by striving to reach the highest standard of Christian education.
